Data deletion

JoinSpot is an app operated by JoinSpot Inc. (Quebec, Canada). This page explains how to request the deletion of part of your data without deleting your account.

You can request the deletion of some of your data while keeping your account. To delete your account entirely along with all associated data, see the account deletion page instead.

In the app: you can remove much of your content yourself, such as your stories, your photos and videos, or your messages, directly where they appear. By email: for any data you cannot remove yourself, write to privacy@joinspot.ca from the email address linked to your account, specifying the data concerned. We may ask you to confirm your identity before processing the request.

This procedure covers in particular: - your stories and the associated media (photos, videos); - the photos and videos you published; - your messages; - your event participation history; - the events you created. Some information required for your account to function, such as your login email address, cannot be deleted without deleting the account itself.

Data deletion requests are processed within a maximum of 30 days. Some information may be retained where the law requires it, in particular transaction and billing records, to meet our legal accounting and tax obligations.
